C. Brooke Dobni, Ph.D., is presenting on how to cultivate innovation by developing an innovation agenda and culture at The Effective Executive Leadership Program. This six-day, retreat-syle executive leadership development program is designed for the professional and personal growth of senior managers and prospective executives. The retreat will develop their performance management skills, strategic and innovative management processes, and how to improve organizational culture. The retreat runs from February 6 – 11, 2022, at the Elk Ridge Resort in Waskesiu, Saskatchewan.

The program is put on by The Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Brooke Dobni is the founder of InnovationOne®, LLC. He is also a Professor of Strategy and has served as the Dean and Associate Dean at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. Since 1995, he has been involved in providing consulting services to some of Canada’s and the United States’ largest organizations. Dr. Dobni’s expertise lies in the areas of innovation orientation profiling, and providing strategic counsel to organizations wanting to advance their innovation orientation. Through his research, he has developed the InnovationOne Culture Index©, which assesses, benchmarks, and provides direction on how organizations can improve their capability and culture to be innovative. Dr. Dobni’s a true thought leader in innovation. He advances his knowledge through scientific research. His current focus is on identifying innovation enhancers: defining the relationship between strategy, innovation, and performance in organizations, and making innovation tangible so that organizations can benefit from it. He has published over 25 peer reviewed articles on strategy and innovation in journals, including the Strategic Management JournalBusiness HorizonsJournal of Business Strategy, the European Journal of Innovation ManagementCrafting and Executing Strategy, and Ivey Business Quarterly, to name a few. In 2013, he completed one of the most extensive surveys to measure innovation culture ever done among Fortune 1000 companies in the United States.
